Flat-Pack, Micro-Greens, Kitchen Grow Pod
Starting your own garden of vegetables, herbs or fruit, can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t have the physical precedents to do so. This project weaves together urban agriculture and small spaces through the use of micro-greens. The Poddy Buddy is a sustainable solution for people to start their first edible garden experience. With an easy fit in the average Yarra renters kitchen, the Poddy Buddy is flat-packed for transportation, easy to use / put together, and all components have a closed loop life cycle.
Flat Pack
Designed to be flat-packed, the Poddy Buddy is laser-cut from 1mm recycled HDPE sheeting and easily folds together.

With a width of 150mm and height of 110 mm when assembled, the light-weight Poddy Buddy brings the garden to the table.
To put together, fold along the scores and slot the tabs into the cuts. Put the mat into the pod and add water. Twist the pod closed and place in a light area for 2-3 days until you see sprouting.
Seed-woven Matting
Each woven hemp fibre mat and contains different micro-green seeds. The process of growing healthy, micro-greens in your kitchen is now a simple one step process. New mats arrive in the mail on a monthly subscription basis, delivered fresh and ready to go.
